Defending People's Rights & Freedom.
My practice is dedicated to defending people's rights and freedom in criminal defense and civil rights cases. I've represented hundreds of Maine people in just about every type of criminal case, ranging from homicides to serious felonies to misdemeanors and driving charges. I also represent people denied their civil rights.
I represent people found indigent by the court in criminal defense cases in the greater Bangor area, including the state and federal trial courts, the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States Supreme Court. I also serve as the vice president of the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and as a member of the Maine Rules of Evidence Committee.
